Firstly apologies for writing in English!!
My ex wife and I about to sign our divorce settlement but i am still unsure if the money arrangement is fair
The financial situation of us both is as follows:
DAD: net income including lunch vouchers but not holiday pay = e2500
MAM: net income including child allowance form government= e1700
We have 2 children, ages 3 and 5. They stay with mam 4.5 days and Dad 2.5 days per week.
The settlement currently means that I pay e810 per month to the ex. this will rise to e920 when the children are both 12 years old.
I am struggling to find the correct and fair way to make the calculation, here are a few options, which is the best and fairest to us both option?
1. If I take the difference in our two incomes and divide by 2 to give each equal money. then include cost for month for both children while they are in her care.
2. If I take each of our earning and subtract our current expenses, rent/house bills etc. and then i add the cost of the children in her care?
3. If I take my income and subtract , my bills, cost of children at my home, payment i make for the children in her time, then divide the remaining money by 33% and then add the money i give her for the tie they are in her care
Is there a set way in which to calculate the child allowance payable and also the alimony amiunt that I need to pay?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
